Designed in 1960, 'Geometri' is perhaps the best known textile design of Verner Panton. Inspired by Op-Art, the design is made up of squares and circles visualized by means of alternating positive/negative colors. The design was created for the eye-catching interior Verner Panton designed for the Hotel Astoria in Trondheim, Norway in 1960 - he completely covered the floor, walls, and ceilings with textiles in one color tone.
