Eamesbikini chair pads are handmade in the U.S.A. with contract-quality textiles. Each bikini consists of a top and bottom pad that ties in the middle (hence, The Bikini Pad). 'Trapez' eamesbikinis are made from MAHARAM's authentic line of 20th Century Textiles (79% cotton, 21% polyester) with Teflon® finish. Dry-clean only. The Designer: Arne Jacobsen (1902-71) was an architect, furniture and product designer. Jacobsen's most famous achievement is the S.A.S Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1959 where he also designed the interior furnishing ('Egg' chair and 'Swan' chair) and the utilitarian objects. He designed for Fritz Hansen, Louis Poulsen, Vola, Stelton and Michelsen, among others.
